Welcome to Life in UK App and LifeInTheUk-Test.com ("we", "us", or "our"). By downloading, installing, accessing, or using our website or mobile application (together, the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
1. License Grant
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download and use the App solely for your personal, non-commercial purposes on devices that you own or control.
2. Subscription & Billing
- Free Trial: If a free trial is offered, you may access premium features free of charge for the trial period. After the trial ends, you will be charged the applicable subscription fee unless you cancel before the trial expires.
- Auto-Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing cycle unless canceled at least 24 hours before renewal. Your account is charged through your Apple App Store or Google Play account.
- Cancellation & Management: You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time from your App Store or Google Play account settings. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period; no partial refunds are offered for unused time.
3. Price Changes
We reserve the right to change subscription fees upon renewal. We will notify you of any price increases at least 30 days before they take effect. You may cancel if you do not agree to the new price.
4. User Conduct
When using the App, you agree not to:
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the App.
- Use the App for unlawful, harmful, or fraudulent purposes.
- Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the App or its data.
- Access the App in a manner intended to avoid fees or limits.
5. Intellectual Property
All content, features, and functionality in the App, including text, graphics, logos, icons, images, audio clips, and software, are the exclusive property of the app owner or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws.
6. Disclaimers
The App is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We disclaim all warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues arising from your use of or inability to use the App.
8. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold us harmless from and against claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses arising from your use of the App or violation of these Terms.
9. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in London.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may modify these Terms at any time. If we make material changes, we will notify you via the App or email at least 30 days before the changes take effect. Continued use of the App after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
11. Age Restrictions
The App is intended for users aged 16 and above. Users under 18 should obtain parental consent before using the App or making any purchases.
12. Account Termination
We may suspend or terminate access to the App at any time for violation of these Terms or any unlawful activity. Upon termination, your right to use the App will cease immediately, though certain provisions of these Terms survive termination.
